All My Wants Shall Cease

All My Wants Shall Cease

... I was living my life as a lost man;
Lost in a world gone wrong;
Hoping to find what truth's left behind,
Hoping some day to belong.

Now all I want is my turn
for that great light to shine down on me;
And I will lift up my head, tho I'll surely be
afraid, but then I'll truly be free.

To fall asleep in the shadows,
to soothe my mind with peace;
And then to run, in the valley of the sun,
where all my wants shall cease
